Our Team

Harry Nelson is the President & CEO of Provision Financial Resources, where he leads the organization’s mission to encourage and enable faithful and wise financial stewardship for the glory of God and the good of the world. Provision provides investment solutions, trust services, and financial guidance to individuals, churches, and Christian organizations across North Carolina and beyond. Harry is the Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager of the Render Capital Fund, a Christian Impact Investing Fund sponsored by Provision.

Harry brings more than 25 years of experience in faith-based and institutional investment management. Prior to joining Provision in 2023, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Eventide Asset Management and President of GuideStone Capital Management. His career also includes leadership roles with Golden Capital Management (now Allspring Global Investments), Charles Schwab, and Wells Fargo’s institutional trust division.

A graduate of The Citadel, Harry also earned a Master of Arts in Leadership from Dallas Baptist University and completed the investment consulting program at the Wharton School of Business.

He is a leader in the faith-driven investing movement and serves on the boards of several international companies focused on advancing the gospel through business as mission. He also serves on the steering committee for the Center for Public Christianity. He is on the Business Advisory Council of Judson College and a member of the Southeastern Society at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He worships with his family at Faith Baptist Church in Youngsville, NC. Outside of work, he enjoys trail running and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
