As the year comes to a close, we are humbled and grateful for the ways God has worked through Provision to make a lasting impact in 2024. Here are some of the highlights that provide a glimpse into the impact of Provision’s mission and vision:
1. Impact Through Ministry Grants and Scholarships
This year, we had the privilege of providing over $389,083 in financial support through our ministry grants and scholarships. These funds enabled students to pursue theological education, supported churches in their ministry endeavors, and empowered local organizations to serve their communities in transformative ways. Every dollar distributed is a testament to the generosity of God’s people and the faithful stewardship of these resources.
We awarded $137,183 in grants to 63 Baptist churches and ministries. Additionally, three grants totaling $52,427 were allocated for benevolence support to assist 15 pastors facing various needs, including health-related concerns.
We awarded over 140 scholarships totaling $251,900, helping students reduce the financial burden associated with college tuition.
2. Launching Free Online Estate Planning Tools
Over the summer, we introduced a free online will planner to help individuals and families steward their resources wisely and biblically. This user-friendly tool makes estate planning accessible to everyone, equipping believers to create a lasting legacy of generosity. Dozens of families have already taken advantage of this service, ensuring their values are reflected in their financial plans.
3. Advancing the Church Loan Program
Provision’s church loan program continued to expand its reach and impact in 2024. From assisting NC Baptist churches with building renovations to funding new construction projects, we have been honored to help congregations grow and thrive. Since its inception, the program has issued loans in 61 of North Carolina's 100 counties. With competitive rates, free consulting, and a commitment to stewardship, these loans have been a vital resource for churches seeking to advance the gospel.
This year, we closed 16 loans totaling $7.9 million, enabling churches to meet their financial needs and expand their ministries effectively.
4. Establishing Provision’s OneFund
This year, we introduced Provision's OneFund, a simplified way to support several Christian causes, including missions, church planting, disaster relief, and more. The OneFund provides donors with a streamlined way to contribute to these areas of need while maximizing their impact for the Kingdom.
5. Launching the Render Capital Initiative
Earlier this year, we unveiled the Render Capital Initiative, which aims to invest in enterprises and endeavors that are strategically positioned to advance the gospel. This initiative represents our commitment to financial stewardship and our desire to provide opportunities for impactful, Christ-centered investments that yield competitive and eternal returns.
